The standard packages listed below are designed to provide optimum satisfaction of experiencing one of the most dramatic destinations of the world within a reasonable time-frame and budget. Tour - 01

GLIMPSES OF LADAKH
(3 Nights & 4 Days)

Day -1:             Arrival Leh by morning flight and transfer to the hotel. Full day of rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs). In the late afternoon visit the City Centre for an orientation walk in Leh Bazaar, followed by a visit to Shanti Stupa.

Day-2:              After leisurely breakfast visit Shey Palace, Sindhu Ghats, Thiksey Monastery & Stok Palace Museum.  Post lunch visit Hall of Fame, Kali Mandir ('Temple of Guardians' (Gon-khang in Spituk monastery), Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Point.

Day-3:              Excursion to Khardong-La (80 kms round trip), highest motorable pass in the world (alt: 18,380 ft.) and recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the markets for shopping etc.

Day-4:              Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home.

Tour - 02

 LADAKH SOJOURN
Leh- Shey /Thiksey / Stok - Magnetic Point /Spituk-Pangong Lake -Khardongla
(4 nights / 5 days)

Day -1:             Arrival Leh by morning flight and transfer to the hotel. Full day of rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs). In the late afternoon visit the City Centre for an orientation walk in Leh Bazaar, followed by a visit to Shanti Stupa.

Tour - 03

WONDERS OF LADAKH-I
Leh - Shey /Thiksey /Hemis/Stok-Pangong Lake-Alchi/Likir/Spituk - Khardongla
(5 nights -6 day)

Day-4:              Full-day tour of the Alchi-Likir circuit; visiting the 15th century Likir Monastery and then the 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic heritage of Ladakh.  On the drive back, visit, Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Kali Mandir (Temple of Guardians or Gon-khang) in Spituk monastery.

Tour - 04

 WONDERS OF LADAKH - II
Leh-Alchi/ Spituk-Pangong /Tangtse-Hemis/Thiksey-Khardongla
(5 Nights -6 Day)

Day -1:             Arrival Leh by morning flight and transfer to the hotel. Full day of rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs). In the late afternoon visit the City Centre for an orientation walk in Leh Bazaar, followed by a visit to Shanti Stupa.

Day-2:              After leisurely breakfast, visit 11th century Alchi Choskor, the oldest surviving monastic heritage of Ladakh. On the drive back to Leh, visit, Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and Kali Mandir ('Temple of Guardians' or Gon-khang) in Spituk monastery.

Day-3:              Eraly departure (6 AM) for Pangong Lake (approx. 300 kms round trip, located on the Indo-China Border), via Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft). After lunch and sightseeing drive back for 30 kms to Tangtse check into Hotel / Guest House or  in a fixed camp near Pangong Lake for overnight stay.

Day-4:              After breakfast, leave Pangong / Tangtse and retrace the road to Leh. Upon reaching Karu, drive across the Indus to visit Hemis Monastery and then return to the high for onward journey to Leh, en-route visiting Thiksey Monastery.

Day-5:              Excursion to Khardong-La (80 kms round trip), highest motorable pass in the world (alt: 18,380 ft.) and recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the markets for shopping etc.

Tour - 05

BEST  OF  LADAKH
Leh - Indus Valley - Nubra Valley -Pangong Lake
(6 nights / 7 days)

Day -1:             Arrival Leh by morning flight and transfer to the hotel. Full day of rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs.) In the late afternoon visit the City Centre for an orientation walk in Leh Bazaar, followed by a visit to Shanti Stupa.

Day-3:              After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, proceed to Tirit / Tegar and check into a fixed camp. In the late afternoon / evening, proceed on sightseeing tour of Sumoor valley and Samstaling monastery.

Day- 4:             After breakfast visit Deskit monstery, Hundar village and the Sand Dunes and then drive back to Leh, reaching in the late afternoon.

Note:    You can also drive straight to Deskit or Hundar on the first day for sightseeing & night stay in fixed camp or Hotel/Guest House while the  Sumoor-Samstaling  area can be visited the next day before driving back to Leh.

Day-5:              Full day excursion to Pangong Lake (approx. 300 kms round trip, located on the Indo-China Border), via Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.) After sightseeing and lunch, drive back to Leh, reaching in the late afternoon / evening.

Tour-06

 PANORAMIC LADAKH
Leh - Shey/Thiksey/Hemis/Stok - Lamayuru /Alchi/Likir/Spituk - Pangong Lake-Khardongla
(7 nights / 8 day)

Day -1:             Arrival Leh by morning flight and transfer to the hotel. Full day of rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs.) In the late afternoon visit the City Centre for an orientation walk in Leh Bazaar, followed by a visit to Shanti Stupa.

Day-2:              After leisurely breakfast, visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery and Stok Palace Museum

Day 3:              After early breakfast drive to Lamayuru (127 kms.), and visit the famous Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining 'Moonland' feature. After sightseeing and lunch here, return to Uleytokpo (60 kms.) to check-in at the Ulley Ethnic Resort, or drive over to Alchi for overnight stay in hotel / camp.

Day-4:              In the morning visit the 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic complex famous for its wall frescoes and architecture. Later drive back to Leh, enroute visiting the 15th century Likir Monastery, Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib,  Kali-Mandir ('Temple of Guardians' or Gon-khang in Spituk monastery, and Hall of Fame.

Day-5:              Full day excursion to Pangong Lake (approx. 300 kms round trip, located on the Indo-China Border), via Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.) After sightseeing and lunch, drive back to Leh, reaching in the late afternoon / evening.

Day-6               Free day at Leh for rest In the afternoon visit Sankar Gompa, Leh Palace & the marketsDinner & overnight at the hotel.

Rafting Option:  On this day, you can opt for a rafting trip on the Zanskar River between Chiling &

   Nimu or on the Indus between Phey and Nimu,  on extra payment.

Day-7:              Excursion to Khardong-La (80 kms round trip), highest motorable pass in the world (alt: 18,380 ft.) and recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the markets for shopping etc.

Day-8:              Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home.

Nubra Valley Extension

Day-7:              After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, proceed to Tirit / Tegar and check into a fixed camp. In the late afternoon / evening, proceed on sightseeing tour of Sumoor valley and Samstaling monastery.

Day-8:              After breakfast visit Deskit monstery, Hundar village and the Sand Dunes and then drive back to Leh, reaching in the late afternoon.

Tour-07

DISCOVER THE SHANGRILA
Leh- Shey/Thiksey/Hemis/Stok - Lamayuru /Alchi -Likir /Spituk - Pangong Lake - Nubra Valley
(8 nights / 9 days)

Day -1:             Arrival Leh by morning flight and transfer to the hotel. Full day of rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs.) In the late afternoon visit the City Centre for an orientation walk in Leh Bazaar, followed by a visit to Shanti Stupa.

Day-2:              After leisurely breakfast, visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery and Stok Palace Museum

Tsomoriri-Tsokar Extension.

Day-9:  Leh-Tsomoriri / Korzok (15070 ft. / 220 kms.)

Early departure for Tsomo-riri (alt: 15,000 ft.) driving through Chumathang, Mahe and Puga Sumdo. At Puga Sumdo the road bifurcates, the right side road leading to Lake Tsomoriri (alt: 15,000 ft.) and the left one leading to Polokongka pass. This lake set amidst snow-capped mountains is about 28 km long and 8 km wide, and famous as the breeding ground of the bar-headed geese. Oovernight in fixed camp or Guest House. 

Da-10:           Tsomoriri-Tsokar-Taglangla-Leh (17582 ft.)-Leh-approx 200 kms):

                        In the morning drive to Tsokar Lake via Puga Sumdo and Polokongka Pass (4920 mtrs). After sightseeing and lunch take the Manali-Leh road and drive back to Leh, crossing the Taglang-la (alt: 17,585ft) en-route. 

Day-11:            Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight for onward journey.

HIMALAYAN CARAVANS
Leh- Shey/Thiksey / Hemis/ Stok-Pangong Lake-Nubra Valley -

Day -03:           After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, proceed to Tirit / Tegar and check into a fixed camp. Post lunch, sightseeing tour of Sumoor and Samstaling monastery.

Day-06:           Leh-Alchi-Likir-Uley Tokpo (approx. 90 kms drive): After leisurely breakfast leave for Alchi,  en-route sightseeing of Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib & Magnetic Point before crossing over to Alchi to visit the 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic complex of the region. Thereafter, drive on to Uklytokpo and check-in at the Uley Ethnic Resort for overnight stay.

Day-07:            Uleytokpo-Lamayuru-Kargil (160 kms): after breakfast, leave for Kargil, enroute sightseeing the dramatically located Lamayuru Monastery and  then the 9-Mtrs. tall rock sculpture of the Maitreya Buddha standing on the roadside at Mulbek, dating back to   the 7th -8th century AD. Dinner & overnight at hotel.

Day -08:           Kargil-Sonamarg-Srinagar (205kms): Early departure for Srinagar via Darss, Zojila & SonamargDrass is famous as the second coldest inhabited place in the world. Here you can also view the famous "Tiger Hill" peak from the roadside. Driving across Zoji-la Pass (11,500-ft. /3,505 m), reach Sonamarg, from where it's a smooth 2-hour drive to Srinagar through the beautiful Kashmir countryside.

Note:   We suggest adding to this tour a 3 night /4 days Kashmir Valley Supplement, covering Srinagar city tours including Mughal Gardens, day trips to Gulmarg and Pahalgam and transfer to Srinagar Airport for taking the flight. Ask for tour details and costing.

Tour-9

KASHMIR-LADAKH  OVERLAND TOUR
Srinagar / Kargil -Lamayuru/ Alchi/ Leh - Shey/Thiksey/Hemis/Stok-Pangong Lake-Nubra Valley
(7 nights / 8 days)

Day -01:           Srinagar- Sonamarg- Kargil- (205 kms): After breakfast leave for Kargil, across Sonamarg (the Golden Meadow) and Zoji-la pass (11,500-ft. /3,505 mtrs). Drass , the first township over the pass, is reputed as the second coldest inhabited place in the world. Kargil, the 2nd largest town of Ladakh is an hour's drive away from here. Overnight at the hotel.

Day -02:           Kargil-Lamayuru-Alchi-Leh (235 kms): Early departure for Leh, enroute sightseeing the Chamba of Mulbek the 9-metre tall rock sculpture of Maitreya Buddha on the roadside, dating back to the 7th-8th century & the dramatically located Lamayuru Monastery. Further ahead you can visit the 11th century Alchi Choskor (oldest monastic heritage of Ladakh), Magnetic Point & Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Overnight at hotel.

  • Sightseeing / excursion by exclusive non-A/C SUV Taxi (Toyota Qualis / Scorpio / Xylo/ Tavera or similar taxi cabs. (The Taxi service is for sightseeing on point-to-point basis as per the chosen itinerary and NOT at disposal.)
  • Inner-line permit & wild life area entry fee for visiting Pangong Lake / Tsomo-riri Lake, Nubra Valley, Khardongla etc.
  • All applicable hotel taxes.

Package Exclusions:

  • Any expenses of personal nature such as tips, laundry, telephone calls, fax etc.
  • Entrance Fees for Monument, Monasteries & Museums included in the itinerary.
  • Any kind of drinks (Alcoholic, Mineral, Aerated)
  • Rafting & Camel Safari Charges, if any.
  • Guide charges, if any.

·Any expense incurred or loss caused by reasons beyond our control such as bad weather, natural calamities (landslides, floods), flight delays / rescheduling / cancellations, any accidents / medical evacuations, riots/strikes/war, & etc.

  • Anything not specifically mentioned under the head "Package Inclusions".
  • Any expenses incurred on extra transport, apart from the ones covered in the package.
  • Any other tax or service charge that could be enforced during this period.
  • Room service & additional meals.
  • Medical & Travel insurance.
  • NO REFUND ON UNUTILIZED SERVICES OF THE PACKAGES

General Terms & Conditions

  • Prices are based on accommodation in standard category rooms at all hotels.
  • 20% advance (Non Refundable) to be deposited for booking of the tour.
  • Balance to be paid at least 15 DAYS before departure to Leh.
  • Payments in Leh, if any, shall be cash only.
  • Children of 12 years and above will be treated as adult person.
  • These rates shall not apply during any Meetings, Incentive, Conference, trade fair etc.
  • All bookings and confirmations are subject to availability.
  • Any increase in the fuel charges or taxes, which may come into effect prior to the departure, will lead to an increase in the Tour price.
